im sad the winter olympics are over and it doesnt come again for the next 4 years…sad
Thanks for a great film!
I am very proud of Elvis.
Great skater.
…fromJapan…
@baystategal That’s cuz he’s not dressed like the others do during performance Lol
This makes my day. Thanks!
He’s the most masculine figure skater I’ve ever seen.
That first manouver was the exact same technique he used to decapitate 33 armed narco-terrioists from Colombia in 86′.
Still awesome after all these years!!
Elvis is entitled to his opinions. He and his correspondent partner in Vancouver don’t have OGM’s. They won silver. Elvis limped to the podium with a groin injury one year and Sasha has never stayed vertical for two programs in a row at any competion.
Elvis is a fabulous athlete, no doubt about it. His come back will be sensible. Sasha’s performed as she always has. Their comments toward Evan were jaded coming from two top level skaters that did not achieve the elite G.M. club.
frick. this man could still school most of the world’s champion figure skaters half his age. such a legend – and never loses an ounce of it even as the years go by!
Hey JCVdude!! SOOOOo cool!
Thanks for the video and explanation about the ceiling.
SOooo lucky to see Elvis :-)
I love how he looks at the tracing after he spins.
Elvis is still the King. And yes, I’m American.
Here in Switzerland all the TV channels, radio and newspapers support Plushenko (the same as in France)
Lysacek- the first NO QUAD champion since 1996!!! What a shame!!!
In Fact he replaced the quad with triple axel triple toe… and Stojko said that he likes Lysacek but although the minor mistakes of Plushenko, he had received a better marks for the difficult in his program. I don’t like Plushenko ’cause his attitudes but I think he deserved win. But as Stojko in 1994 he will the moral winner…
Evan wouldn’t go to Sochi because he’s a chicken. He knows that this olympics was an accident and that he’ll never again get an olympic medal since he didn’t deserve it. He was a pawn in the great scheme and it worked.
This guy is great!!!
Elvis Stojko should have won the gold in 1994. He was the best back then! Lysacek during the olympics 2010 skated in the same level as Phillipe Candeloro who won the bronze 1998.
But Lysacek skates so slow and his jumps are so tiny. Plushenko skates with speed and his jumps are big. Lysaceks program was also boring. A sleeping pill. It´s a shame that Lysacek didn´t told the world the truth – that he didn´t deserved the gold.
Elvis Stojko deserved to win the gold in olympics 1994. And in 2010 Plushenko deserved the gold.
@lakeerie90s
He didn’t do a quad in the long program at Lillehammer… he popped the triple axel and replaced the planned quad with an impromptu triple axel double toe.
Get the facts straight before posting.
I agree with you, plus I would also say that the russians are hypocrites for whining about not winning the gold. How ironic that many years ago in the 1994 olympics it when Stojko was the only skater with the quad yet HE didn’t win the gold, it was a RUSSIAN skater who only did triples (and falls) winning the gold. FINALLY, what goes around comes around. Now if only Nancy Kerrigan could get that well-deserved gold off that twit Oksana Bailul.
if anyone fucked with canada the entire UN would throw down against the yanks thats what everyone forgets to realize. unlike americans we have respect from most of the world. unlike americans we didnt sell or integrity and dignity for money. The entire world knows this except urselves.
I respect him. Yep i’m Russian)))) But he isn’t, he just said what he really thougt as professional scater. Also, i dare say, thet both scaters are greate……and its really not coz of my originally but Winner of Olimpic Games should do as difficult as beautifull programm…We love Evgeniy, and his silver like gold foe every rusian…..Evan should learn how to jump for Sochi 2014…..
i lost respect for Stojko when he was so adamant with the idea that Plushenko was better than Lysacek. i agree that quads are TECHNICAL progress and this judging system is garbage, but to think that Plushenko should have won is absurd. if the award goes for technique, Plushenko was weak there too. does no one remember TILTED jumps and WEAK landings AND spins? all this talk about difficulty, the only serious difference was the lack of a quad from Lysacek. otherwise, they had the same jumps.
We respect all in our country who try, Maybe it is not American to do so but it is Canadian. and this is Canada. Gold or not he is one of the worlds best.
@hawthawt Yes, we do. We don’t consider people who come in second and third worthless people.
